LAST-MINUTE CALL-UP AT AUDI FOR HABSBURG

Ferdinand Habsburg should have been having a much-deserved weekend off this Saturday and Sunday but, thanks to an impressive DTM season in the Audi RS5 DTM, including a pole position, two front row starts, four second row starts and a podium, Audi Sport has called him up to represent the brand in the biggest GT3 race in the world, the 24 Hours of Spa.

MAIDEN DTM POLE AND PODIUM FOR HABSBURG IN ZOLDER

Ferdinand Habsburg has had a weekend of firsts as he took his maiden DTM podium and pole position in only his first season in the WRT Audi RS5 DTM. The 23-year old has impressed all season, slowly climbing closer to the top and his sights are now set on a race win in Hockenheim.

FERDINAND’S FOURTH TOP FOUR START

Ferdinand Habsburg proved once again that he is a DTM force to be reckoned with after qualifying inside the top four for the fourth time this season, this time at Zolder in Belgium. After qualifying alongside current champion and eventual race winner Rene Rast in his Audi RS5 DTM, the 23-year old Austrian believes that a podium finish is well within reach if everything comes together.

BULLET SIGNS NACHO MONTENEGRO

Bullet Sports Management has signed 15-year old rising star Ignacio “Nacho” Montenegro (AR) as a full-time Bullet Athlete following a successful support and development programme run by the motorsport specialists throughout the summer.

FERDINAND’S FRONT ROW START

Race one saw Habsburg get another one of his famously strong starts, climbing from seventh into the top-five. The messy race – with three safety cars – saw him get pushed wide and, despite a penalty being given to the perpetrator, Habsburg had to settle for his starting position.
