IGNACIO MONTENEGRO JOINS BULLET SPORTS MANAGEMENT

Bullet Sports Management is proud to welcome rising Argentine talent Ignacio “Nacho” Montenegro back to its roster.

The 20-year-old began his car racing career in Spanish F4, but after a season in Europe, the then 15-year-old returned to Argentina to complete his studies. Alongside school, he entered the highly competitive Argentinian Touring Car scene. Since then, Nacho has achieved outstanding results, finishing third in the TC2000 Championship, second in the Brazil Touring Car Championship, and becoming TCR South America Champion in 2023.

Determined to continue his rise, Nacho returned to Europe in 2024 to compete in the TCR Spain Winter Series, where he dominated the field with four podiums in four races, including three victories, to claim the championship title by a significant margin. He then joined the TCR Europe Series for the remainder of the season, securing five podium finishes, including a win at the iconic Spa-Francorchamps, and finishing third overall while also earning the Rookie of the Year title. He capped off an exceptional year by taking home the Gold Medal at the FIA Motorsport Games in Valencia.

The 2025 season marks another major milestone in Nacho’s career as he’s made his full-season debut at World Championship level, competing in the TCR World Tour. Six races into the campaign, Montenegro sits seventh in the standings with two rounds remaining, having already claimed two podium finishes against a field packed with multiple champions and far more experienced competitors.

To continue building on his strong momentum, Nacho has joined forces with Bullet Sports Management, the team behind the careers of Formula 1 driver Franco Colapinto, as well as FIA WEC and ELMS champions Ferdinand Habsburg and Rui Andrade. With Bullet’s guidance, Nacho aims to take the next major steps in his already impressive racing journey.

Nacho Montenegro:

“Coming back to work with Bullet truly feels like coming home. We built a strong relationship back in 2020, and I’ve always valued the trust and support they’ve given me. I’m really excited to start this new chapter together with the same passion, the same goals, and an even stronger drive for what’s ahead.”

Maria Catarineu, Bullet Sports Management:

“It’s so great to have Nacho back with the Bullet team. We had the pleasure of guiding him when he first began his single-seater career in Europe, and since then, he’s collected an impressive amount of silverware. We’re delighted he’s chosen us to help shape the next phase of his career. The future is bright for young Nacho, and we can’t wait to see what it holds.”

Like fellow Bullet athletes Franco Colapinto, Santino Panetta, and Gianmatteo Rousseau, Nacho is also coached by Lucas Coaching Drivers, led by Lucas Benamo and Lucas Colombo.

Lucas Benamo, co-founder, Lucas Coaching Driver:

“Nacho is a very talented young driver at the beginning of a promising career. We’ve reached a point where he needs a professional management team to handle contracts and secure the best opportunities for 2026 and beyond. Given our long-standing collaboration with Bullet Sports Management, it was an easy choice to partner with them again. I’m really looking forward to working together once more.”

Nacho’s first race as a Bullet athlete will take place this weekend at Zhuzhou International Circuit in China.
