BENJAMIN GOETHE MAKES ASIAN LE MANS SERIES DEBUT WITH GARAGE 59

ROFGO Driver Benjamin Goethe will compete in the Asian Le Mans Series with Garage 59, sharing a McLaren 720S GT3 with Alexander West and Marvin Kirchhöfer.

Goethe made his race debut with the Brackley-based team last December at the Gulf 12 Hours alongside Marvin Kirchhöfer (DE) and Alexander West (SE). Benjamin’s first time in the Mclaren turned out to be an absolute success as they finished second in Pro-AM and in sixth place overall.

Now the German-Danish youngster returns to Garage 59 in car #88 with an unchanged line-up in the Asian Le Mans Series. The ACO-run championship takes place in the UAE over a two-week period in February, with two 4-hour races at the Dubai Autodrome season opener and two more races at the Yas Marina Circuit, combining day and night racing.

Benjamin Goethe:

“I’m very excited to be competing in Asian Le Mans. It’s my first time competing in this series, and it’s great to be doing it with Garage 59 and McLaren. We had a successful race last time in Abu Dhabi, and we want to continue that success with a good result in this championship.”
