Argentinean Colapinto will move up from karting to single-seater racing at the wheel of a Drivex-run Tatuus-Abarth at the Circuito de Navarra, where the season will draw to a close this weekend

Franco Colapinto, aged 15, will make his debut in the the Formula 4 Spain season finale at the Circuito de Navarra in Los Arcos, after a successful background in the international karting scene. It will mark his first appearance in single-seater race.

Colapinto, a Buenos Aires native, recently finished 3rd in the Codasur and his racing pedigree also includes the Argentinean Pre-Junior Championship in 2016. Franco already carried out a first outing with the Tatuus-Abarth at the Circuito de Albacete recently. Colapinto completed more than 90 laps in the car he will drive in Los Arcos. 

“It’s a long-awaited debut and my goal is to learn as much as possible. ” – Colapinto added. “I will try not making mistakes and achieve the best result possible. I will give my best on my debut but it’s a completely new experience to me. But I have a great team behind and experienced teammates, which will make everything easier.
